Mum successfully had surgery this morning, the surgeon said she'll be out of bed tomorrow.
She went in at quarter to nine and was in recovery for half eleven. No real problems at the moment although morphine is making her itchy.

Great to see you smiling, Kate!! And wow, what a scar ... mine are all from childhood, but my THR is in a few months (eek), so I'll be getting something similar then!

Yay! what a nice smiley piccie! I was so worried and it's a huge relief to see your fine, and doing well. Scar is looking good for a day old, where about's is it, is it just above the hip, so more like pelvic region??
